Pope's team are at the top of their game when it comes to getting the job done for their clients. But it becomes apparent that these "gladiators in suits" who specialize in fixing the lives of other people, have trouble fixing those closest at hand, their own. When we last saw our team of gladiators, Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) was re-elected for a second term, Harrison met a shocking end, and Olivia Pope and Associates shut its doors as its namesake left Washington D.C. on a plane with Jake, destination unknown. Now, everything-and everyone-is in upheaval without her at the helm.
