At Goldie's on the Sunset Strip, a group of up-and-coming comedians work on their stand-up craft. They find new rivals, but they also find family. When one of them makes it, they all make it and when they fail, they fail together. But if Johnny Carson’s couch is the Holy Grail, do they wait for Goldie to say, “You’re ready,” or fly blind and possibly miss out on their one shot at stardom?
