Child's Play

A serial killer is being pursued by the police; he flees into a doll factory. He will die there--but not before transferring his dark soul into one of the dolls...a doll named Chucky. When Chucky is unwittingly purchased by Karen Barclay for her son, the murders begin. The grinning, cherub-faced, very-much-alive doll makes sure that the evidence points to young Alex. The detective who shot the serial killer doesn't believe Alex's story but, as he is attracted to Alex's mom, agrees to investigate. And Chucky--cute, little, murderous Chucky--does not like that at all...
