Ip Man: Kung Fu Master

Ip Man: Kung Fu Master

Now In Theatres. Liming Li’s IP MAN: KUNG FU MASTER harks back to the legendary Ip Man’s early days before the Communist Revolution in 1949. Ip, portrayed by Dennis To for the third time as the martial artist who famously tutored Bruce Lee, was then a police captain in Foshan and soon to become a father for the first time. He is targeted for vengeance by Qing Chuan (played by scene-stealing newcomer Wanliruo Xin), the dangerous daughter of Third Father (Michael Wong), a ruthless but honorable mobster who’s been killed under mysterious circumstances while in police custody. Forced to quit the force, Ip Man must soon also contend with the arrival of the Japanese army in Guangdong province.
