Death may be closer than it appears. Voluntarily locked away in the perceived safety of a psychiatric hospital, the lone survivor from Final Destination, lives in constant fear that Death is coming to claim her. She may be considered crazy, but she is also right. Death is moving toward suburban Route 23, heading south in Final Destination 2., Meanwhile, en route to a weekend getaway with her friends, Kimberly Corman has a terrible premonition. Shocked into action, Kimberly blocks traffic on a highway on-ramp. Drivers honk and complain, until death tears up the highway in a massive pile-up, with those left on the onramp narrowly escaping with their lives. But Kimberly knows it' not over: Death wont be cheated so easily. Now, this random group of strangers, who were all meant to die in the freeway disaster, must join Kimberly in a desperate attempt to stay alive.
In the third film of the Final Destination franchise, high school student Wendy Christensen fails to stop the ill-fated rollercoaster ride that she predicted would cause the deaths of several of her friends. She teams with schoolmate Kevin Fischer in a race against time to prevent death from revisiting the survivors of that amusement park accident.
On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When his vision ends, events begin to mirror what he had seen, and he frantically ushers as many of his colleaguesincluding his friend, Peter (Miles Fisher), and girlfriend, Molly (Emma Bell)away from the disaster before Death can claim them. But these unsuspecting souls were never supposed to survive and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group tries to discover a way to escape Death's sinister agenda.
