Eleven-year-old North (Elijah Wood, The Lord of the Rings trilogy) realizes that his parents (Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, TV's "Seinfeld") never pay attention to him. After talking to a wise man in an Easter Bunny suit (Bruce Willis, Die Hard), North comes up with the idea of becoming a free agent. After winning a court case, North is given two months to find new parents, leading to an amazing, hilarious adventure.
